How
large is the email account? Can it hold multiple sets of
eDocs?
Your USANotaries email account was designed specifically
with the mobile notary and eDoc requirements in mind.
Holding up to 20 MB, you can be assured that you will be
able to hold multiple sets of average sized refinance eDocs,
assuring that your account is adequate if you are on the
road and unable to download right away.
As a matter of comparison, one well known free notary email
account site offers only 1 MB of space; Hotmail's free
account holds 2 MB, and their paid accounts hold 10 MB for
$19.95 a year ........ two thirds the entire cost of a
yearly notary listing at USANotaries.com, including a 20 MB
email account.

Search Engines and Other Directory

Your
examples of search engine rankings contain specific
geographical areas. Why don't you show just general terms,
such as "signing agent"?
When a signing agency, lender, or title company needs a
notary in some county in some state, they search for a
signing agent in that county. They do not want to sift
through hundreds, perhaps thousands of entries for notaries
all over the country.
Many of the directories, as well as signing agencies who
charge you to sign up and join their "directory",
will advertise on general terms, such as "mobile
notary" and "signing agent". This is just an
attempt to get notaries to sign up, and does little to
attract business for you.
Our intention is to get you, the notary, more business.
We believe that if you are successful, we are going to be
successful. We plan on being here next year, and for many
years to come.

I
looked up the same key terms with my geographical area, and
USANotaries.com does not rank as well. Why is this, and can
I expect to see better results later?
USANotaries.com tends to rank well when geographical
specifics are combined with mobile notary and signing agent
terms, which is how most of the companies seeking closing
agents will search. This is assuming, however, that we
do in fact have a page up for that particular county. While
we do have pages at present for all states, we do not have
counties and notaries in every state. You may be found
through the directory based on your presence on our
directory, as well as the state, but having your county, and
your page in particular, shown on the search engine enhances
your chances of being found before others.
If you sign up and we create new county pages, you can usually
expect these pages, and your web page in particular,
to be picked up in 2 to 4 weeks. There is no guarantee,
however, when it comes to search engine ranking, or even if
and when a search engine will pick up a given page. No one
has control over search engine ranking, and, while paid
advertising can be bought, higher ranking in the basic
search cannot be purchased.
